BC Social Fellows
Each year, BC invites a small group of students to share the Boston College experience with a global audience through social media. The Social Fellows are a talented group of photographers, videographers, and curators who document the sights and sounds across campus, throughout the city, and around the world, from the extraordinary to the everyday.
This internship opportunity is available to Boston College undergraduates from all schools. Students who can demonstrate a talent for creating outstanding digital content and an interest in learning more about social media are invited to apply through the Office of University Communications.

Audrey Mitchell '24
Audrey is a communication major from Duxbury, MA. If she's on her phone, she's probably queuing up a Taylor Swift song or ordering an iced coffee. Audrey loves spending time with family and friends, plotting running routes, scouting sales, or planning her next trip. And of course, repping BC!
Emma Bittenbender '24
A Wayne, PA, native, Emma is a communication major with a marketing minor. Emma loves traveling with family, spending time at the beach, and exploring new places with friends. In her free time, you can find Emma shopping, reading fashion blogs, working out, and trying new restaurants.
Arella Kluvitse '24
Hailing from NYC, Arella is studying computer science and marketing, as she has a passion for technology and graphic design. You can often find her thrifting or traveling (when she isn't studying for computer science). She loves nature, exploring new places, and is growing her plant collection.
Katie Hughes '24
Katie is from Pittsburgh, majoring in international studies and economics. She is a member of BC Theatre, University Chorale, and the Student Admissions Program. Outside of the classroom, Katie enjoys traveling, learning new music, running the Res, and exploring Boston and its many restaurants.
Teresa Knestout ‘24
Teresa is an elementary education and applied psychology double major from Silver Spring, MD. She loves taking and editing photos, running and trying out new workout classes, blasting karaoke, and traveling. Teresa is involved in the Student Admissions Program, APPA, Kairos, and University Chorale.
Patrick Mills ‘24
Patrick is from South Florida ane he takes a lot of photos and makes the occasional video. For leisure, he enjoys parks, beaches, and live music.
Jordan Nakash ‘24
Jordan is from Kingston, Jamaica, double majoring in economics and communication. She is involved in Caribbean Culture Club, Student Admission Program, and PATU. If she's not at a football game losing her voice, she's probably cooking or baking. She loves all things food, music, dance, and BC!
Yashi Phougat ‘24
Yashi is from Fishers, IN, majoring in communication and minoring in finance. While studying in London, she's assimilating to British culture while keeping her American roots by listening to country music & watching the Patriots. Yashi adores Taylor Swift, even getting a tattoo of one of her songs!
Abby Slimmon ‘24
Hailing from Chicago, Abby is a communication major with a minor in marketing. Along with being a Fellow, she is a BC Dining marketing intern and 4Boston leader. You might find her at a country music concert in Boston, playing tennis with friends, or on a daily res walk listening to audio books.
Molly Bardong ‘25
Molly is a Long Island native majoring in communication. When she’s not studying, there’s a good chance she’s with friends driving around, at the beach, or enjoying a concert. She practically thinks in TikTok sounds and loves making content for other BC students!
Sarah Dansreau '25
Sarah, a biology and public health double major, grew up in Hingham, MA. She spends her summers on Cape Cod where she loves to go to the beach, watch the sun set, and explore new places. Sarah also enjoys traveling, shopping, spending time with friends and eating at new restaurants.
Sophia Faherty ‘25
Sophia is studying communication and marketing and comes to the Heights from Ridgewood, NJ. Her hobbies include going for long runs, skiing, and trying new baking recipes. Outside of school, you can find her at the beach, spending time with family and friends, or blasting Taylor Swift in the car.
Annabel Halloran ‘25
Annabel is on the pre-law track studying international studies. She’s from River Forest, IL, and loves to cheer on the White Sox. When she’s not hanging out with friends & family, she’s listening to Taylor Swift, going for a run, or doing both! Annabel loves spending time in the Stokes Amphitheater.
Beatrice Hesse ‘25
Beatrice is studying communication, applied psychology, and management. She comes to the Heights from Chicago, where she loves to walk along the lakefront and cheer on the Cubs. In her free time, she loves to dance with DOBC and take fun photos of her friends and things she loves.
Sarah Kadlick ‘25
Sarah is a psychology major, coming to the Heights from Norwalk, CT. In her free time, she loves to sing, run with friends, and work on her small jewelry business. You can find her spinning at the Rec Center, working in O’Neill, or enjoying a cheesy Caprese panini at Hillside!
Olivia Landolfi ‘25
Liv is a communication major from Franklin Lakes, NJ. Some of her hobbies include taking and editing photos, singing, playing guitar (especially Taylor Swift songs), writing, and skiing. She loves spending time with her family and friends and will always suggest visiting a big city!
Jaiden Nicholson ‘25
Jaiden is double majoring in psychology and African and African Diaspora Studies. From the Bronx, he loves to play basketball and chess. He was introduced to photography in high school and has been capturing mainly fashion, sports, and events with his camera ever since.
Madeleine Scalise ‘25
Madeleine is from the Chicago suburbs, majoring in communication. In her free time, she's walking the reservoir, listening to country music, in line at the Chocolate Bar, or strolling Newbury Street. Madeleine is most excited for her second APPA trip and spending quality time with friends!
Saron Yared '25
Hailing from the Dallas-Fort Worth area, Saron is a film studies and communication major. She is on the AHANA+ Leadership Council and a the event coordinator for the Ethiopian Eritrean Student Association. She also works in the Office of University Communications as a video intern.
Ellie Ascione ‘26
Ellie is from Belmont, MA, studying communication with a minor in marketing. She loves being with friends and family, cooking, and traveling. A few of her BC favorites include res walks, game days, and all of the traditions like Convocation and Marathon Monday.
Macy Cherra ‘26
Hailing from Kansas City, Macy is majoring in communication and minoring in marketing. When she is not taking photos, you can find her watching a Royals or Chiefs game, drinking coffee, or spending time with her friends and family.
Will Doerr ‘26
Will hails from Milwaukee, majoring in marketing and finance. He is on the Marketing Academy executive board and a member of the Midwest Society. He enjoys traveling to Boston, shopping, exploring coffee shops, and hanging out with friends. He's passionate about skiing and photography as well.
William Kelly ‘26
From Milton, MA, William is a communication major with minors in marketing and French. He loves cooking, playing with his dog, and driving in his Jeep. You can always find him on his daily Res walk with a chai latte in one hand and his film camera in the other!
Julianne Nguyen ‘26
From Windham, NH, Julianne is majoring in nursing and minoring in psychology. She loves watching the sun set, taking pictures, and going to the beach. In her free time, she enjoys traveling, finding good eats, and hanging out with friends.
Audrey Chang '27
Audrey is a psychology major and art minor from Coastal Mississippi. When not hanging with friends with a Rat coffee, she's watching baseball, listening to Mt. Joy, or taking pics for BC's yearbook Sub Turri and the Fellows. She love creating gifts, driving along the beach, and reading outside.
Jackson Fiore '27
Jackson, a political science major, hails from Ridgefield, CT. He loves late night talks with friends, relaxing with his cats, and of course, snapping photos of the things and people he loves. If you see him with earphones in, there’s a good chance he’s listening to Between Friends.
Liana Sanchez '27
Liana is from Berkeley Heights, NJ, double majoring in marketing and communication. She is a member of the Dance Ensemble, Strong Women Strong Girls, and Student Admissions Program. You can find her admiring Gasson, enjoying late night at Stu, or keeping up with pop culture news on the Newton bus.
Isabelle Soderlund '27
Isabelle, a South Florida native, is a communication major with minors in marketing and English. You can usually find her with a book or camera in hand. In her downtime, Izzy enjoys walks around the reservoir, working out with friends and playing her guitar (Usually, Taylor Swift).
