Jaromir Nosal is an assistant professor at the Department of Economics at Boston College. His research interests are macroeconomics, international finance and household finance. His most recent papers focus on the evolution of mortgage debt and defaults between 2001 and 2013, and the 2005 Bankruptcy Abuse Prevention and Consumer Protection Act (BAPCPA), the most recent and important reform of personal bankruptcy in the United States.
