Retreat Workshops

The Institute also hosts training workshops for directing persons in the Spiritual Exercises in the form of preached retreats. Offered over the two-semester academic year, this practicum experience prepares School of Theology and Ministry MDiv students for offering the Spiritual Exercises through the preached retreat ministry. The practicum begins with witnessing a preached retreat at Manresa in Convent, Louisiana, and concludes with the student’s successful creation of a preached retreat delivered at Jesuit retreat houses in Minnesota, Louisiana, Wisconsin, and Missouri.
