I am pleased to welcome you to the website for the Institute for Advanced Jesuit Studies. I invite you to explore this site to learn more about the Institute and its initiatives.

The Institute, founded at Boston College in 2014, has a mission to deepen understanding and appreciation of the history, spirituality, educational heritage, and pedagogical approach of the Society of Jesus.

We seek to accomplish this mission through various programming (both at Boston College and around the globe), the support of research efforts and publications, and a commitment to provide digital projects in Open Access.

With these initiatives and our collaborative partnerships, we hope to serve as a dynamic partner for the growth of Jesuit Studies and for the health of the Society of Jesus and its works. I hope you will contact us with any questions or if our programming might be of assistance in your work.
