Every year, undergraduates serve as Ever to Excel mentors for high school students from around the world. Mentors strive to inspire these high school students and serve as role models as they explore and discover new interests, deepen their faith, make friends from all over the world, and have fun - all while experiencing Boston College: a premier Jesuit, Catholic university.
Mentors receive formation for providing strong leadership for the small groups that will meet throughout the week in order to explore what it means to live a more meaningful life through the lens of Ignatian spirituality. As a mentor, you will be asked to facilitate conversation, present personal testimonies and reflections, and exercise leadership for making the week a memorable and enjoyable experience for everyone involved in Ever to Excel. Mentors receive free room and board for the duration of the training and the program itself in addition to a stipend.
