Deacon Christopher Brolly entered the Society of Jesus in 2015. As part of his formation for the priesthood he studies at the Boston College Clough School of Theology and Ministry. He has experience in spiritual direction from guiding retreatants making the Spiritual Exercises of St Ignatius Loyola in daily life (the 19th Annotation Program) as well as delivering preached 3-day retreats at a variety of Jesuit retreat houses.

Fr. Michael Mohr, S.J., a native of Baton Rouge, Louisiana, serves as Vocation Promoter for the Jesuits USA Central and Southern Province. A former high school teacher, his formation consisted of ministries and studies worldwide, including Vietnam, Uganda, Europe, and Latin America. After completing theological studies in Rome, he earned a Licentiate in Church History at Boston College with a focus on the early history of the Society of Jesus.

Fr. Patrick Nolan, S.J., grew up in Massapequa Park on Long Island, NY. A graduate of Loyola University Maryland, he worked for several years in the sports marketing industry before entering the Jesuits in 2008. During formation, Fr. Nolan studied philosophy at Loyola University Chicago and theology at Boston College. For regency, he was missioned to the Pacific islands to teach, coach basketball, and serve as Yap Catholic High School’s first director of college counseling on the island of Yap, Micronesia. After ordination in 2018, Fr. Nolan taught, coached lacrosse, worked in admissions, and served as chaplain at Boston College High School. Following his tertianship experience in South Africa, Fr. Nolan was missioned to Gonzaga College High School in Washington, D.C., to serve as Director of Campus Ministry and Ignatian Identity for a year before starting his current mission as Provincial Assistant and Director of Vocations for the USA East Province of the Society of Jesus.

Ian was raised in North Texas and entered the Jesuits in 2015. Currently, he is studying theology at Boston College Clough School of Theology and Ministry. Before beginning theology studies, Ian served for three years as a prison chaplain to incarcerated youth in Belize. He is an avid soccer fan and enjoys good books.

Conan Rainwater, S.J., is a MDiv student at the Boston College Clough School of Theology and Ministry ('26). He was ordained to the diaconate in September and will be ordained to the priesthood in June of 2026. He grew up in Bismarck, North Dakota, and entered the Jesuits in 2015.

Camino Ignaciano

The Camino Ignaciano is the pilgrimage route that St. Ignatius of Loyola walked in 1522 after his conversion. The pilgrimage typically starts from his birthplace in Loyola and ends in Manresa in Spain.

All Ambassadors and participants will take part in walking the Camino Ignaciano. To guide you during your pilgrimage, all pilgrims will receive a copy of the Official Guide to the Camino Ignaciano by José Luis Iriberri, S.J. & Chris Lowney.
