Sharla Randazzo, LICSW, has been a part-time facility member at the Boston College School of Social Work since 2018. She is an experienced school administrator currently serving as the Director of Social Emotional Programming for Somerville Public Schools. She specializes in school social work, education administration, and the treatment of children and adolescents with a wide range of complicated psychiatric illnesses with a particular interest in health and wellness and education equity.
Over the past 20 years, Sharla has worked in direct care as well as supervisory roles in a variety of settings including private schools, public schools, primary care, medical and psychiatric hospitals, group homes, residential care and wraparound programs. As a result, Sharla has a wide range of experience and is knowledgeable about resources and services for many populations.
When not working, Sharla enjoys being outdoors, spending time with her three children, and gardening, and can often be found at the gym lifting weights, in a spin class or taking a hot yoga class.
