Crissy Pruitt, B.A. ’97 (Elementary Education), M.Ed. ’98 (Curriculum and Instruction), Ed.D. ’26 (Educational Leadership), has been named the next Superintendent of Easton Public Schools, marking the culmination of a distinguished career in education and leadership—and completing her path as a proud Boston College “Triple Eagle.”

Crissy Pruitt
A longtime leader within Easton Public Schools, Pruitt has dedicated nine years to the district and currently serves as Assistant Superintendent, where she has helped guide district-wide curriculum development, instructional coaching, and equity-centered initiatives. Her work has focused on strengthening instructional practices, expanding access to complex learning opportunities, and supporting educators through ongoing professional development. In this role, she will play a key part in shaping academic programs and advancing district goals that center on student success and inclusion.
Her appointment as superintendent was unanimously approved by the Easton School Committee, reflecting confidence in her leadership and recognition of her familiarity with the district’s schools, staff, and community, and her reputation as an enthusiastic, championing leader who is continuously inspired and motivated by the community she serves.
Pruitt previously earned her B.A. and M.Ed. at the Lynch School. She is set to complete a Doctor of Education in Educational Leadership in May 2026, becoming a Triple Eagle whose academic journey spans nearly three decades at the university.
