Boston College Campus Recreation is thrilled to announce the hosting of the NIRSA Region I Basketball Tournament. Join us for an exhilarating weekend of competition from February 16 - 18, at the Margot Connell Recreation Center. This tournament brings together top intramural and sport club teams, showcasing the spirit and skill of campus recreation. We're excited to welcome teams from across the region to our facilities, where they will experience not only fierce competition but also the unique spirit and community of BC.

Complete the Registration Form: Begin by filling out the NIRSA Region I Basketball Tournament Registration Form. Ensure all required fields are accurately completed. This is your initial step to indicate your team's intention to participate in the tournament.

Await Payment Link and Instructions:

  • Receiving the Payment Link: Within 48-72 hours of submitting your registration form, you will receive an email containing a link to officially register and process your payment. This link is essential for confirming your team's spot in the tournament.
    • Credit Card Payments: Through the provided link, you can conveniently pay the registration fee using a credit card. Follow the instructions in the email to complete this process.
    • Payment by Check: If you prefer to pay by check, please bring your payment to the tournament check-in on Friday at 4 pm. Ensure the check is prepared correctly with all necessary details.
  • Assistance: Should you encounter any issues during this process, don't hesitate to reach out to Amin Purry at purry@bc.edu for support and guidance.

Stay Updated on Tournament Details: After completing the registration and payment process, stay attentive to your email and other communication channels for updates regarding the tournament. This includes schedules, rules, venue changes, and other pertinent information.

All Parking Rates Apply:

  • Weekend: $10 per every 12 hours
    • *Weekends begin on Fridays at 6 p.m. and end Sunday at 11 p.m. Vehicles left in the garage after this time are subject to ticketing/towing.
  • New charges begin at 6:00 a.m every day.

 

Upon Arrival:

When you enter the Beacon Garage from Beacon Street, you will find yourself on the 2nd floor. You can either stay on the second floor or drive down to the first floor.

2nd Floor Parking:

  • When you exit your car, walk toward the Fish Field House (the long open side of the garage). The ramp to take you to the ground floor will be located close to the northeast corner of the garage (the open side opposite the entrance you used to enter the garage).
  • At the bottom of the ramp, turn left and walk toward Gate Plaza of Alumni Stadium.
  • At Gate E Plaza, you will see a crosswalk. Cross the road and follow the sidewalk to the Margot Connell Recreation Center (MCRC). The MCRC will be on your right-hand side.

1st Floor Parking:

  • When you exit your car, head toward the opposite side of the garage from where you entered (the open side).
  • When you exit the garage, turn left and walk toward Gate Plaza of Alumni Stadium.
  • At Gate E Plaza, you will see a crosswalk. Cross the road and follow the sidewalk to the Margot Connell Recreation Center. The MCRC will be on your right-hand side.
