The mission of the MARS is to support the mission of the National Intramural and Recreational Sports Association (NIRSA) and other professional associations that serve college, university, or other not-for-profit recreational sports professionals and students in providing educational programs, experiences and opportunities that foster the development of quality recreational programs, facilities, and services for diverse populations.

Registration Information

To register for the event, please follow these steps:

  1. Visit the MARS Website:
    Go to the MARS website.
  2. Find the Registration Section:
    Scroll down the page to locate the registration options.
  3. Select Your Registration Type:
    Choose either "Professional Registration" or "Student Registration," depending on your status.
  4. Proceed to Checkout:
    Click on the selected registration option and follow the prompts to complete your registration.
  5. Complete Your Registration:
    Fill in the necessary details and finalize your purchase to secure your spot.

You will recieve a free parking ticket at check in. 

The GPS address for the Beacon Street Garage is 156 Beacon Street, Chestnut Hill, MA 02467.

When you enter the Beacon Garage from Beacon Street, you will find yourself on the 2nd floor. You can either stay on the second floor or drive down to the first floor.

2nd Floor Parking:

When you exit your car, walk toward the Fish Field House (the long open side of the garage). The ramp to take you to the ground floor will be located close to the northeast corner of the garage (the open side opposite the entrance you used to enter the garage). At the bottom of the ramp, turn left and walk toward Gate Plaza of Alumni Stadium. At Gate E Plaza, you will see a crosswalk. Cross the road and follow the sidewalk to the Margot Connell Recreation Center (MCRC). The MCRC will be on your right-hand side. 

1st Floor Parking:

When you exit your car, head toward the opposite side of the garage from where you entered (the open side). When you exit the garage, turn left and walk toward Gate Plaza of Alumni Stadium. At Gate E Plaza, you will see a crosswalk. Cross the road and follow the sidewalk to the Margot Connell Recreation Center. The MCRC will be on your right-hand side.

  1. Work Out

    You are welcome to come in and use our facility to work out in the morning. We open at 6:00 am. You will be provided a towel and a locker so you can shower before check-in. Please note, you will need to sign a facility use waiver.

  2. Aqua Boot Camp

    Our Associate Director for Aquatics, Instructional, and Risk Management, Leonardo Torres, will be your instructor. This high-energy class combines shallow and deep water workouts for an intense, full-body workout. Movements will incorporate flexibility, balance, strength training, intervals, and sprints. Bring your “A” game because anything goes! Comfort in deep water is a must. If you are interested, please email Kenny Turbush at turbush@bc.edu. We only have 10 spots available. You will be provided a towel and a locker so you can shower before check-in. You will have to sign a facility use waiver.

  3. Pickleball

    We will have two courts available in our MAC Court to play Pickleball. We will provide the nets, rackets, and balls. You will be provided a towel and a locker so you can shower before check-in. Please note, you will need to sign a facility use waiver.

  4. Possible 9 Holes of Golf

    We are looking to set up tee times to play golf at Newton Commonwealth Golf Course from 7:00 am - 9:00 am. There will be a fee involved with this. If you are interested, please email Kenny Turbush at turbush@bc.edu. We need this information to set up tee times and negotiate a price.
