Susan Coleman

Assistant Dean, Field Education

Profile

Assistant Dean Coleman shares over 30 years of human services experience in Massachusetts, with her students and colleagues.  She has worked with vulnerable populations in several settings - with children and families in the child welfare system and with adults with experiencing mental health, substance abuse or other social/emotional concerns.  Her expertise in supervision and staff management includes consultation, coaching and programming.  As a lifelong practitioner in the Boston area, Sue builds on her connections in the community to form strong partnerships with agency administrators and field instructors.  As a social work educator, Sue is focused on modeling the social work values and professional skills needed by the next generation of social workers.
