Congratulations on your admission!

You are invited to participate in Higher Education Interview Days from February 23 - 27, 2026. This virtual event will allow you to learn more about the BC Lynch School Higher Education program and to interview for assistantships and other paid positions.

 

Interviews will take place throughout the week of February 23rd. Informational sessions and videos will be online.

Please note: Interview Days are for full-time admitted students only. If you were admitted as a part-time student and have questions regarding employment opportunities, please reach out to the Interview Days team at hefiexp@bc.edu.

2026 Interview Days Schedule

This event is open to all admitted, full-time students in the Higher Education M.A. program. Our goal is to provide an opportunity to find a graduate assistantship that will deepen your professional development during your time at Boston College.

The following schedule is subject to change. Participants will receive the final schedule with their interview placements on Monday, February 16th.

Review available positions. In the form, apply to no more than 10 openings at Boston College. You may apply to positions at other institutions as well, bringing your total applications above 10.

Deadline

You must complete both steps by Monday, January 26, 2025 at 5pm in order to be considered for the graduate assistantships offered through our Interview Days program.

Hire a BC Higher Education Student

Thank you for your interest in hiring a Boston College Higher Education graduate assistant for the 2025-26 academic year!

This year's Interview Days event will be held virtually.

Interview Days will be held from Monday, February 23, through Friday, February 27, 2026. Supervisors will have the opportunity to interview up to ten students per day, with interviews running from 8:30 a.m. - 4:45 p.m. Since we will have students interviewing from various parts of the world with different time zones, we greatly value your flexibility and availability to meet with them during these scheduled times. The event is open to all supervisors providing a paid/stipended internship or graduate assistantship opportunity for the 2026-2027 academic year.

Interview Days Timeline

  • January 8: Deadline for supervisors to submit GA/Intern posting to hefiexp@bc.edu (this deadline is firm). Supervisors should refer to the position template and sample when creating their position descriptions.
  • January 15: All GA/Intern postings are made live on this website for students to review. 
  • January 27: Students must commit to attending Interview Day and send in their assistantship/GA preferences and applications.
  • February 6: Supervisors receive (via email) resumes and candidate profiles from students who are interested in their position(s).
  • February 13: Deadline for supervisors to indicate the students they would like to interview along with their availability for Interview Day (an online form will be provided to all supervisors on February 6).
  • February 21: Supervisors receive their Interview Day schedules.
  • February 23 - 27: Interview Days (8:30 a.m. - 4:45 p.m.)
  • March 9: Supervisors may start making offers. Once a student has accepted, please email hefiexp@bc.edu ASAP so that we can remove your posting. Please also notify us if you do not match with a student for your position.

International students: Please note that visa requirements require that you can only work at Boston College in order to receive compensation.
