When you RSVP, you will indicate the time blocks during which you are available. While you may have school or work obligations, we encourage you to select as many time blocks as possible to increase your opportunity to interview with employers. Students should commit to being available for entire time block(s). If you are unable to participate in interviews for an entire time block, please do not select that time period in your RSVP form. We are unable to accommodate partial block availability.
Please note that all times listed are in Eastern Standard Time (EST).

Thank you for your interest in hiring a Boston College Higher Education graduate assistant for the 2025-26 academic year!
This year's Interview Days event will be held virtually.
Interview Days will be held from Monday, February 23, through Friday, February 27, 2026. Supervisors will have the opportunity to interview up to ten students per day, with interviews running from 8:30 a.m. - 4:45 p.m. Since we will have students interviewing from various parts of the world with different time zones, we greatly value your flexibility and availability to meet with them during these scheduled times. The event is open to all supervisors providing a paid/stipended internship or graduate assistantship opportunity for the 2026-2027 academic year.
Students will apply to positions through the RSVP and application form, and candidate applications will be forwarded to supervisors by February 6. After reviewing applications, prospective supervisors will fill out a form in which you rank candidates for interviews and indicate your availability to participate in interviews during Interview Days. For scheduling purposes, we ask you to plan to commit to a full time block of interviews wherever possible.
Interview slots are arranged in 30 minute increments, with 15 minute breaks in-between. Morning interview blocks will be held on Tuesday, February 24th and Friday, February 27th. Afternoon interview blocks will be held on Monday, February 23rd and Thursday, February 26th. Interview Day participation will occur in two blocks:
Morning blocks on Tuesday & Friday (max 7 interviews):
Interview #1: 8:00 - 8:30 AM
Interview #2: 8:45 - 9:15 AM
Interview #3: 9:30 - 10:00 AM
Interview #4: 10:15 - 10:45 AM
Interview #5: 11:00 - 11:30 AM
Interview #6: 11:45 AM - 12:15 PM
Interview #7: 12:30 - 1:00 PM
Afternoon blocks on Monday & Thursday (max 7 interviews):
Interview #1: 12:00 - 12:30 PM
Interview #2: 12:45 - 1:15 PM
Interview #3: 1:30 - 2:00 PM
Interview #4: 2:15 - 2:45 PM
Interview #5: 3:00 - 3:30 PM
Interview #6: 3:45 - 4:15 PM
Interview #7: 4:30 - 5:00 PM
All interviews will take place on Zoom. Supervisors will be asked to provide a stable Zoom link when submitting preferences for candidates (e.g. a recurring meeting link without time constraints). We encourage you to use the "waiting room" feature when setting up your Zoom link in order to manage the flow of candidates in and out of your interviews. If your Zoom Room uses a password for external guests, we will collect that information as well so that students are able to access your Zoom Room for interviews. For more information about how to set up a recurring Zoom meeting without time constraints, please see directions here.
Please direct all questions to the Interview Days team at hefiexp@bc.edu.

Need help making your application stand out?
We recommend utilizing your current or previous institution's career services to assist in building a resume and cover letter.
If you need additional support, please visit Boston College Career Center's website for guidance on how to write a strong cover letter and resume. While applications do not require a formal cover letter, the resources below may be helpful for writing your short answer questions.
We recommend that you first review the available positions on the Open Positions tab. For a detailed position description for each role, click on the position title. Note that positions that allow remote work will specify this in the position description. Apply to positions of interest (no more than ten at Boston College, unlimited at other institutions) when you fill out the RSVP and applications form.
