Supporting Success in Algebra
Transition to Algebra (TTA) is a year-long algebra support curriculum designed to raise the confidence and competence of ninth-grade students who are underprepared in the subject. Responding to an urgent need for innovative approaches that foster success in algebra for high-need students, the team is examining the impact of TTA on students’ algebra achievement and attitudes toward mathematics, and investigating how teachers use and adapt TTA.
