Internal Transfer

Boston College undergraduate students may apply for transfer consideration into Lynch School's Applied Psychology & Human Development, Elementary Education, Secondary Education, or Transformative Educational Studies majors. To be eligible, students must:

  • have a minimum 3.0 grade point average to apply to the Applied Psychology & Human Development, Elementary or Secondary Education majors. Applicants to the Transformative Educational Studies major must have a minimum of a 2.5 grade point average
  • have a record free of or with limited academic deficiencies
  • complete at least four semesters of full-time study in the Lynch School
  • have completed at least one semester at Boston College

Students are welcome to make an appointment with a member of the Office of Undergraduate Programs staff to review the transfer process. Applicants to the Elementary or Secondary Education programs are strongly encouraged to make an appointment prior to completing the application.
