Language revitalization for Mashpee Wampanoag youth

Nitana Hicks Greendeer, Ph.D. ’14 (Curriculum and Instruction), is driving a language revitalization project for Mashpee Wampanoag youth. She and other linguistic scholars and educators are bringing back the Wôpanâak language, which was lost for generations.
