Our Mission
The mission of the Offices of the Associate Vice Provost for Research Administration is to provide comprehensive support to members of the Boston College research community engaged in the preparation and submission of proposals and the management of funded projects. We aim to make the research administration process less complex by supporting faculty, investigators, and research teams at every stage of the research lifecycle - from finding funding opportunities to proposal development, award management, and closeout. Our goal is to reduce administrative burden so that researchers can focus on their work. As stewards of the University’s externally funded research portfolio, the Offices of the Associate Vice Provost for Research Administration are responsible for ensuring that all research proposals and projects comply with Boston College’s academic and research policies and meet institutional obligations to external sponsors. If you have any questions, please reference the Contact Us page to find your designated representatives with any questions or concerns.
