Eddie Shabomardenly currently serves as the Assistant Athletics Director for Communications at Boston College.
In this role, he leads the department's communications, media relations, and creative content strategy across all 31 varsity sports. Since joining BC in 2021, he has helped grow the athletics department's social media audience to more than 1.3 million followers across all platforms.
Before joining Boston College, Shabomardenly worked at St. John's University, where the team he was a part of received multiple NACMA "Best Of" Award recognitions, including a bronze award for Multiplatform Branding Campaign.
Shabomardenly earned a bachelor's degree in Communication Studies from the University of Rhode Island and earned his MBA from St. John's University in New York.
