Articulation Agreements

The M.S. in Applied Economics has articulation agreements with Stonehill College, Merrimack College, and Suffolk University. Under the terms of these agreements, qualified students from each partner institution are eligible for the following:

  • Waiver of the application fee;

  • Waiver of the Graduate Record Exam (GRE);

  • Preferred admission without the competition of the rest of the applicant pool;

  • Advanced standing for up to two upper-level elective courses in Economics that student has completed at the partner institution;

  • Option to complete the eight remaining course requirements in one additional calendar year.

Qualifications

  • Anticipated successful completion of a bachelor's degree from partner institution in May of senior year

  • Overall GPA of 3.30 or above at the partner institution

  • Submission of all the application materials by the published Boston College deadline.

Students at partner institutions should contact the Program Director of M.S. in Applied Economics at Boston College with any further questions.

The Woods College of Advancing Studies is proud to offer College of the Holy Cross and Stonehill College students and graduates an option for preferred admission to the Master of Science in Cybersecurity Policy and Governance. This option is available to Stonehill students and graduates with majors or minors in Computer Science.

Qualifications

  • Anticipated successful completion of a bachelor’s degree in May of senior year or graduation from Holy Cross or Stonehill College
  • Overall GPA of 3.30 or above
  • Submission of all Cybersecurity Policy and Governance application materials by the end of the semester in which the student will graduate, or if a graduate, within the required timeframe of the applicable admissions cycle. 

Financial Aid

  • All students are eligible to apply for financial aid. The Woods College also has additional scholarships for students who qualify based upon both merit and need.
  • Qualified Holy Cross and Stonehill students should apply in the Fall semester of their Senior year in order to receive priority consideration for financial aid.

Bunker Hill Community College

This agreement applies to qualified Bunker Hill Community College students who have graduated from OR who are on track to graduate at the conclusion of the current semester from Bunker Hill Community College. Under the terms of this agreement, qualified students from Bunker Hill Community College are eligible for the below:

  • Waiver of the application fee
  • Waiver of letters of recommendation
  • Waiver of essay
  • Guaranteed admissions into the Woods College of Advancing Studies B.A. program

Qualifications

  • Be a student in good standing with an anticipated successful completion of an Associates degree from Bunker Hill Community College in one of the following majors:
    • AS, Business Administration Transfer Option
    • AS, Management
    • AS, Finance
    • AS, Entrepreneurship
    • AS, Accounting
    • AS, Criminal Justice Transfer Option
    • AS, Criminal Justice Career Option
    • AA, Psychology
  • Overall GPA of 2.5 or above at Bunker Hill Community College (students with lower GPA are still encouraged to apply but are not guaranteed admission)
  • Submission of an abbreviated Woods College B.A. application

Middlesex Community College 

This agreement applies to qualified Middlesex Community College students who have graduated from OR who are on track to graduate at the conclusion of the current semester from Middlesex’s Criminal Justice or Business Administration Career programs. Under the terms of this agreement, qualified students from Middlesex Community College are eligible for the below: 

  • Waiver of the application fee
  • Waiver of letters of recommendation
  • Waiver of essay
  • Guaranteed admissions into the Woods College of Advancing Studies B.A. program

Qualifications

  • Be a student in good standing with an anticipated successful completion of an Associates degree in Business Administration Career OR Criminal Justice from Middlesex Community College at the conclusion of the current semester
  • Overall GPA of 2.5 or above at Middlesex Community College (students with lower GPA are still encouraged to apply but are not guaranteed admission)
  • Submission of an abbreviated Woods College B.A. application

North Shore Community College

This agreement applies to qualified North Shore Community College students who have graduated from OR who are on track to graduate at the conclusion of the current semester from North Shore Community College. Under the terms of this agreement, qualified students from North Shore Community College are eligible for the below:

  • Waiver of letters of recommendation
  • Waiver of essay
  • Guaranteed admissions into the Woods College of Advancing Studies B.A. program

  • Be a student in good standing with an anticipated successful completion of an Associates degree from North Shore Community College in one of the following majors:

    • AA, Liberal Arts (Psychology Pathway, English Pathway, History Pathway, Political Science Pathway, Sociology Pathway)
    • AS, Early Childhood Development
    • AA, Computer Science Transfer
    • AA, Computer Information Systems
    • AA, Computer Networking, and Security
  • Overall GPA of 2.5 or above at North Shore Community College (students with lower GPA are still encouraged to apply but are not guaranteed admission)
  • Submission of an abbreviated Woods College B.A. application
