Articulation Agreements

The M.S. in Applied Economics has articulation agreements with Stonehill College, Merrimack College, and Suffolk University. Under the terms of these agreements, qualified students from each partner institution are eligible for:

  • Waiver of the application fee;

  • Waiver of the Graduate Record Exam (GRE);

  • Preferred admission without the competition of the rest of the applicant pool;

  • Advanced standing for up to two upper-level elective courses in Economics that student has completed at the partner institution;

  • Option to complete the eight remaining course requirements in one additional calendar year.

Qualifications

  • Anticipated successful completion of a bachelor's degree from partner institution in May of senior year

  • Overall GPA of 3.30 or above at the partner institution

  • Submission of all the application materials by the published Boston College deadline.

Students at partner institutions should contact the Program Director of M.S. in Applied Economics at Boston College with any further questions.

The M.S. in Leadership & Administration has an articulation agreement with Stonehill College and Dean College.  Under the terms of that agreement, qualified students are eligible for:

The Woods College of Advancing Studies is proud to offer College of the Holy Cross and Stonehill College students and graduates an option for preferred admission to the Master of Science in Cybersecurity Policy and Governance. This option is available to Stonehill students and graduates with majors or minors in Computer Science.

Qualifications

  • Anticipated successful completion of a bachelor’s degree in May of senior year or graduation from Holy Cross or Stonehill College
  • Overall GPA of 3.30 or above
  • Submission of all Cybersecurity Policy and Governance application materials by the end of the semester in which the student will graduate, or if a graduate, within the required timeframe of the applicable admissions cycle. 

Financial Aid

  • All students are eligible to apply for financial aid. The Woods College also has additional scholarships for students who qualify based upon both merit and need.
  • Qualified Holy Cross and Stonehill students should apply in the Fall semester of their Senior year in order to receive priority consideration for financial aid.

MassBay Community College 

Under the terms of this agreement, qualified students from this institution are eligible for:

  • Waiver of the application fee
     
  • Waiver of one letter of recommendation

  • Waiver of one essay

  • Guaranteed admission for qualified graduates from MassBay Community College (based on select, eligible programs)

  • Option to complete BA in 2 years of full-time academic study (based on course work transfer)
Qualifications
  • Anticipated successful completion of Associates Degree from MassBay Community College

  • Overall GPA of 2.5 or above at the partner institution (students with lower GPA are still encouraged to apply, but are not guaranteed admission)
  • Submission of all the application materials

Pine Manor College  

Under the terms of this agreement, qualified students from this institution are eligible for the below. Please select Pine Manor College in the list of Articulation Agreements in your application to ensure requirements are waived.

  • Waiver of the application fee
     
  • Waiver of letters of recommendation

  • Waiver of one essay. Required essay topic: Discuss your reason(s) for applying to the BA program at the Woods College of Advancing Studies at this time. Support your reasons with specific examples.

  • Guaranteed admission for qualified graduates from Pine Manor College (based on select, eligible programs)

  • Option to complete BA in 2 years of full-time academic study (based on course work transfer)
Qualifications
  • Anticipated successful completion of Associates Degree from Pine Manor College

  • Overall GPA of 2.5 or above at the partner institution (students with lower GPA are still encouraged to apply, but are not guaranteed admission)
  • Submission of all the application materials.
