Support at the Connors Family Learning Center
Woods Students enjoy full access to the CFLC, which offers tutoring in more than 60 subjects, workshops, and support services for students with learning disabilities.
Personalized, passionate, and proactive, our advising approach prioritizes individualized care. Each student in a degree program is assigned an advisor for the duration of their time at Woods—a single contact focused on frequent interactions that meet each individual’s specific needs.
A variety of programming—including a digital program of studies, a monthly advising newsletter, and advising open houses that include pizza—complements the formal advising experience.
Everything we do is grounded in the Jesuit ideal of cura personalis, or care for the whole person. That means our advising encompasses academic, personal, and spiritual support, and our staff also connect students to resources that serve their emotional and social needs.

Whether you are enrolled in a degree program or not, Woods College academic advisors help you plot a course that meets your individual needs.
Our graduate program directors serve as advisors to their programs' current and prospective students.
“At the Woods College, our ideals and vision are rooted in the Jesuit, Catholic concept of cura personalis —care for the whole person. Students will see this particularly through their interaction with our advisors. They pay incredible attention to each student, not just around their program of study, but also to helping them through challenges they may have in their lives. ”
