Careers

Our program centers on mentorship: From the start of the program, professors provide support as faculty mentors and work collaboratively with doctoral students to conduct research and co-author papers.

Students have access to a variety of programming that enhances their professional development: lunches, seminars, job talks, mock interviews, and Job Club. These informal and formal opportunities and events complement the mentorship from which every student benefits. Programming encompasses a range of topics, including how to apply for funding and prepare for presentations, what it’s like to work at research institutions, cover letters, and more.

Flourish With Faculty Support

A distinct sense of community and camaraderie among faculty and students sets us apart. They form lasting relationships based on research interests, and faculty members act as both advisors and dissertation committee members.
