Biography

Originating from Memphis, TN, Riley Coopwood is a Political Science and International Studies major with a concentration in Cooperation and Conflict.  As an IS student, Riley has delved deeper into the study of conflict through her work as a member of Prof. Krause's Political Violence Project. As a Research Assistant and eventual Undergraduate Research Fellow, Riley worked on various projects dealing with insurgencies and rebel consolidation, and she worked on a podcast to learn from other scholars in the field. During Fall 2025, Riley will be studying at the University of Copenhagen.

At Boston College, Riley is a member of the Reading Club. She is also a member of the AHANA Pre-Law Student Association and was previously a member of the John Marshall Project. This will be her first year as an IS Peer Advisor, and she looks forward to meeting all the prospective IS majors.
