Biography

Allison Choi is a senior studying International Studies with a concentration in Cooperation & Conflict, and a minor in Chinese. She was born in California and primarily grew up in Hong Kong, where she attended an American international school. Her education and upbringing has led her to be interested in the broader Indo-Pacific region and maritime security issues. This interest contributed to her decision to study abroad in Sydney, Australia, where she explored contemporary and theoretical international relations from the Pacific perspective. She also has experience in public policy, having interned with Federal Hall Policy Advisors in Washington, DC over the summer.

At Boston College, Allison serves as a Director with the Campus Activities Board, volunteer with BC Bigs, and member of the Alpha Sigma Nu Honor Society. She loves being outdoors (particularly in the water) and is currently training for her first Hyrox (and she hopes she will survive it). She looks forward to meeting and helping current and prospective IS students!
