Biography
Matilyn Paul is a first-year M.A. student at Boston College. Graduating from Suffolk University in 2026 with a double major in English Literature and Global and Regional History, Matilyn is a proud first-generation college student planning to pursue a Ph.D. in English in the future. Her interests center on the deconstruction of faith, the presence of Christianity in the novel, Gothicliterature, and empire. She is also interested in the inclusion of war or its threat in a text, as wellas epistemology. Matilyn is currently a Writing Fellow working with undergraduate BC studentsand is also a member of the Connors Family Learning Center team, offering Writing Support.
