Master's Student
Grace specializes in twentieth-century American literature, the evolution of the novel form, and feminist and intersectional theory. She is especially drawn to novels that examine psychology, identity, and internality, and how these elements develop and intersect throughout a given story. Her long-term goal is to produce literary criticism that connects twentieth-century texts to ongoing socio-political conversations, as well as publish her own novels.
In the spring of 2026, Grace graduated from Oregon State University with her B.A. in both English and Secondary Education. The following summer, she was awarded her Preliminary Teaching License and English for Speakers of Other Languages endorsement. Grace’s time spent student-teaching in a high school classroom, along with her current role as a Writing Fellow and an MLL specialist at Boston College, has instilled in her a passion for teaching composition, communication, and empowerment through language.
When she is not in the classroom, Grace enjoys running, cooking, yoga, and exploring local museums and events in Boston.
