Zeyad Yousif

Biography

Zeyad Yousif is a senior majoring in International Studies with a concentration in
Global Cultures and a minor in Environmental Studies. He hails from Queens,
NY but was born and raised in Alexandria, Egypt. Zeyad studied abroad in Argentina
and Italy, and in summer 2022 worked as an industry developer for the
National Volunteer and Philanthropy Centre in Singapore.  He worked for two years as a research assistant with Prof. Peter Krause's Political Violence Team, and conducted research on environmental justice for the Schiller Institute. He has also interned for United Planet at Rio Loro Municipality Environmental Park in Costa Rica. Zeyad is the co-chair of Global Conversations (in 2021-22 and 2022-23) and has been on the e-board of ISSA, BikeBC, and RealFood. He also served as an International Assistant last year..
