Ericka L. Webb was named Director of Gift Planning in September 2015. She oversees all aspects of the gift planning program and works closely with donors, their advisors, staff, and University leadership to increase philanthropic support to the University through legacy gifts. She was Director of Gift Planning and Endowment for the WGBH Educational Foundation for more than four years.  Prior to joining WGBH, Ericka worked in the gift planning offices at both Harvard University and Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center. 

Ericka earned her bachelor’s degree in international relations from American University and a master’s in education from Harvard University. She served as a Peace Corps Volunteer in Chad, Africa, where she worked on community health education and other initiatives. She is on the board and a member of the Planned Giving Group of New England (PGGNE) and also a member of the National Association of Charitable Gift Planners.

Joel Carlton-Gysan partners with BC alumni, parents, and friends to help them make a meaningful impact at the Heights while meeting their financial and philanthropic goals. Previously, he worked to expand nonprofit development and planned giving programs supporting critical issues including higher education, the arts, human rights, and the environment. He has held senior positions at Ceres, the International Campaign for Tibet, Seattle’s Intiman Theatre, and Boston University. Joel earned an MBA from Boston University and bachelor’s degree in public relations from Capital University in Columbus, Ohio. He is a member of the National Association of Charitable Gift Planners and the Planned Giving Group of New England (PGGNE).

Denise Heffron joined Boston College in October 2017. Bringing over 10 years of expertise, she collaborates, cultivates and stewards BC alumni, parents, and friends with various gift planning offerings such as bequests, life-income gifts, and other complex gift transactions. Previously, Denise worked at State Street Global Advisors (SSgA’s) private asset management group as a Senior Trust Administrator working with the firm's largest private wealth relationships. Most recently, she worked at SSgA in the Charitable Asset Management group. Denise is also an active member of the Planned Giving Group of New England (PGGNE) and a member of the National Association of Charitable Gift Planners.

Susan Salcetti joined the Office of Gift Planning at Boston College in July 2020. She works with alumni, parents and friends to leave a meaningful impact at BC through legacy gifts. Susan has over 10 years of development and nonprofit management experience in educational and healthcare institutions. Prior to BC, she worked to steward and cultivate donors at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute and at Milton Academy. She earned her bachelor’s degree in International Political Economy at Colorado College and is a member of the Planned Giving Group of New England (PGGNE).

Meaghan L’Heureux ’15, MS ‘18 manages estate administration, stewardship events, and the day-to-day operations of the Office of Gift Planning. Prior to BC, Meaghan was an intern in the overnight program at Rosie’s Place and she worked as a paralegal assistant at Cullen and Dykman LLP. As a student, Meaghan was active in BC’s Arrupe International Immersion Program, traveling to Puebla, Mexico and serving as a student leader for a trip to Guatemala. A BC alumna, Meaghan holds a bachelor's degree in economics and a master's degree in applied economics. She is a member of the Planned Giving Group of New England (PGGNE).

Joining the team in 2019, Layla coordinates the day-to-day operations of Gift Planning. Before coming to BC, Layla worked in various capacities of Higher Education, from Development and Residence Life to faculty. Layla earned an MBA from Piedmont College and bachelor’s in English from LaGrange College in Georgia. Layla is currently pursuing her Eagle education as a BC graduate student earning her Master’s in English.
