Note: States marked “NO” include jurisdictions where Boston College has determined, based on the program’s current status and the relevant state requirements reviewed, that completion of the proposed Psy.D. program would not satisfy that jurisdiction’s educational requirements for licensure as a psychologist at this time.
For some jurisdictions, this determination is related to requirements for graduation from an APA-accredited doctoral program, an APA-accredited-on-contingency program, a CPA- or PCSAS-accredited program, ASPPB/National Register designation, or another board-recognized designation. Because the Boston College Psy.D. in Clinical Psychology is not currently APA-accredited, these jurisdictions are marked “NO” at this time.
If the program later attains APA accreditation, accredited-on-contingency status, or another recognized designation, Boston College may update these determinations as appropriate.
Licensure requirements are subject to change. Students should consult the applicable state licensing board for the most current requirements.
