Gary is a Partner and Chief Architect for Cloud & AI Solutions at Deloitte. He advises Fortune 100 executives on designing and deploying bespoke cloud, generative AI, and agentic AI solutions at scale.
He is passionate about open-source; his cloud projects have been downloaded over five million times, reflecting the strength of the community behind them.
Gary’s work and ideas have been featured in The Wall Street Journal, Forbes, CIO.com, and Amazon re:Invent. He also hosts On Cloud, a technology podcast exploring cloud, AI, and emerging tech.
At Boston College, he teaches Generative AI in the MS in Applied Analytics program. Students learn frameworks, real-world playbooks, and hands-on skills they can apply immediately at work. Teaching keeps him grounded, sharp, and learning from the next generation.
He holds an MS in Computer Science from Boston University and an MBA from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.
