Maeve Coffelt is a junior studying International Studies with a concentration in Ethics & Social Justice and minoring in Hispanic Studies. She was born and raised in Hailey, Idaho, a small town nestled in the beautiful Sawtooth Mountains. Growing up in a tight-knit community that values public lands, nature, and the outdoors sparked her interest in how physical and cultural features interact, change over time, and influence one another. Additionally, living in a community with a significant Spanish-speaking population piqued her interest in the language and its diverse cultures. She looks forward to studying abroad in Quito, Ecuador, in the spring and immersing herself in some of the cultures she has spent her life learning about.

At Boston College, Maeve serves on the Corcoran Center’s Undergraduate Real Estate and Urban Action Council and is involved in Women in Real Estate and Kesem Chestnut Hill. In the summer of 2026, Maeve interned at Madison Park Development Corporation, a community-based nonprofit organization focused on affordable housing and community development, as part of the Corcoran Center Summer Internship. Outside of BC, Maeve enjoys the outdoors, running around Boston, and getting cozy with a good book. She looks forward to meeting and helping both current and prospective IS students!
