I provide data processing and analysis support for the Defense Meterological Satellite Program (DMSP) for Ionospheric studies.In particular for the SSIES, SSJ and SSM sensors flown on the satellites.
SSIES - Measures the spacecraft's electric field, electron density and scintillation in the upper atmosphere.
SSJ -  Analyzes electrons and ions entering the upper atmosphere which produce the auroral display.
SSM - Measures disturbances in the earth's magnetic field.
We process and maintain a large database of over 35 years of DMSP data that is made available to the Space Weather Community.
