Alex Moskowitz, Ph.D. '21, who also earned an M.A. in English from Boston College in 2014, is currently a visiting lecturer in the Department of English at Mount Holyoke College.

Kyleigh Leddy '19 is the author of The Perfect Other: A Memoir of My Sister, published in 2022 by HarperCollins. She won the New York Times Modern Love College Essay Contest in 2019, and is pursuing an M.S.W. in advanced clinical practice and public policy at Columbia University.

Gabriel McClary '18 is earning a dual J.D./M.B.A. at NYU. He has held summer associate positions at Paul, Weiss and JP Morgan Chase & Co.

Brysen Boyd '17, a TV writer and playwright, was a Writing Fellow for HBO's hit show Succession.

Katie Daniels ‘17 is an associate with studioID's Expert Network Team. Previously, she was the managing editor of Commonweal magazine and an editorial fellow at The Atlantic.

Olivia Hart '16 is a social worker living in Atsugi Japan. She received a Fulbright grant to teach English in Nicosia, Cyprus.

Asha Lemmie '15 is the New York Times best-selling author of the historical fiction novels The Wildest Sun and Fifty Words for Rain.

Reeves Wiedeman '08 is a features writer at New York magazine and the author of Billion Dollar Loser: The Epic Rise and Spectacular Fall of Adam Neumann and WeWork.

C. Dale Young '91, M.D., practices medicine full time and teaches in the Warren Wilson College M.F.A. Program for Writers. He is the award-winning author of a novel in stories, The Affliction, and five collections of poetry.

Adam Fitzgerald '05 has published two collections of poetry. He is the founding editor of poetry journal Maggy and a contributing editor at Literary Hub, and he teaches creative writing and literature at Rutgers University.

Sophia Görgens '15, M.D., is an emergency medicine resident in the Zucker/Northwell residency program on Long Island. She is a graduate of Emory University's School of Medicine.

Corinne Sullivan '14's debut novel, Indecent, came out from Wednesday Books, a YA/Adult Macmillan imprint, in 2018. She is a contributing editor at several publications, including Elite Daily, POPSUGAR, and Hearst.

Benjamin Key '11 is the executive director and head of Programming Strategy & Entertainment at Condé Nast Entertainment.

A.E. Kulze '11 is a freelance writer whose work has appeared in The New England Review, The Stinging Fly, Daily Beast, Bullett Media, XOJane, The Atlantic, New York, and many other publications. 

Caitlin Moran '11 was awarded the Gary Fincke Writing Prize for Prose, for the best work of fiction published in the Fall 2010 Susquehanna Review. Her work has appeared in BC’s own Stylus and Laughing Medusa, as well as Pure Francis, RIPPLE magazine, and AISES Winds of Change magazine.

Jack Neary ‘11 is the Head of Community at the Cambridge-based literary merchandise startup, Litographs.

Chris Staudinger '11 is a former travel journalist and riverperson who lives in Tacoma, Washington and co-founder/co-owner of the tour company Pretty Gritty Tours.

Skye Shirley '10, who received the Dever Fellowship after the completion of her poetry thesis, is currently a doctoral student in Greek and Latin at University College London and the chair of the American Classical League's Award Committee. Her poems have been published in several journals, including Mid-American Review, Passages North, Ruminate Magazine, and Post Road.

Katherine Griwert '09 is an editorial coordinating producer for PBS/WGBH's Frontline.

Sarah (Sally) Holmes '09 is the editor in chief of InStyle. Previously, she was editor in chief of Marie Claire and an executive editor at Elle.com.

Natalie Horbachevsky '09 is a program manager in Job Architecture at Google. Previously, as an editor at Penguin Random House, she worked with authors such as Tom Coughlin (head coach of the New York Giants and author of Earn the Right to Win with David Fisher), Richard Sheridan (author of the award-winning Joy, Inc.) and sales and marketing gurus including John Jantsch, Jill Konrath, and Jay Baer. Natalie recalls wonderful memories of her days as an English major at BC, especially classes with Professors Beth Kowaleski-Wallace and Kim Garcia.

Sarah Lunnie '09 is the senior dramaturg of the Public Theater in New York.

Kate Balch O'Neill '08 is a freelance digital media and marketing consultant who has held leadership roles at Beautiful Destinations and HuffPost.

David Benoit '08 is a banking reporter for The Wall Street Journal.

Rebecca Buckley '08 completed the Columbia Publishing Course and is currently the general manager at Mick Management, a boutique management agency and record label.

Katherine Cannella Armstrong '08 is a senior landscape architect at Matthews Nielsen Landscape Architects in New York.

Jennifer Close '08 is the best-selling author of the novels Girls in White Dresses, The Smart One, and The Hopefuls. Her first novel chronicles a group of recent BC graduates and highlights the bond between women during those crucial years after college and before marriage, employment, and children.

Kathryn Dill '08 is a news editor on the live journalism team at The Wall Street Journal. She received her M.A. in Business Journalism from New York University in 2014.

Katie Moulton '08 is a writer, editor, and music critic who lives in Baltimore and teaches in The Writing Seminars at Johns Hopkins University. Her audio memoir, Dead Dad Club: On Grief and Tom Petty, was released by Audible in 2022, and her writing has appeared in Salon, The Believer, New England Review, Sewanee Review, and many other publications.

Sean Keck '07 is an assistant professor and director of graduate studies in English at Radford University in Radford, Virginia. He earned a Ph.D. from Brown University.

Christopher Kramaric (formerly Young) ‘07 is assistant head of school for external affairs at the Woodlynde School outside of Philadelphia. He earned a Master's in Philosophy at Yale University.

Lloyd Liu '07, J.D., is a partner at Bennett LoCicero & Liu LLC, and a graduate of Georgetown Law School.

Will Dowd ('05) is the author of Areas of Fog, a collection of essays published by Etruscan Press, and an artist whose editorial cartoons appear regularly in the Boston Globe. His writing and art have appeared in numerous magazines. He earned an M.S. from MIT, as a John Lyons Fellow; and an MFA in Creative Writing from New York University, as a Jacob K. Javits Fellow. He lives and works in the Boston area.

Simone Kearney '06 is a writer and artist living in Brooklyn. She is author of the debut poetry collection DAYS (Belladonna Press, 2021) and My Ida (Ugly Duckling Presse, 2017). Other publications include Brooklyn RailBoston Review, LitHub, PEN Poetry Series, Jubilat, and Post Road Magazine, among others. She has exhibited her artwork nationally and internationally. She teaches at Parsons School for Design and received her MFA in poetry from Hunter College.

Matthew Di Paoli '05 was a Dever Fellow and recipient of the Cardinal Cushing Award. He received his M.F.A. at Columbia University, and has been nominated for three Pushcart Prizes for his fiction. He is the author of the novels Killstanbul (El Balazo Press), and his new book Holliday is forthcoming from Sunbury Press.

Kate Kreinbring '05 has been an English teacher and literacy specialist in the Chicago Public Schools since 2005.

Marissa Matteo '05 is a graduate of the University of of Miami's M.F.A. program in writing and UCLA's M.F.A. in Screenwriting program. She is a successful ghostwriter and co-writer whose ghost-written work has appeared on the New York Times bestseller list.

Daniel Pritchard '05 is the founder and managing editor of The Critical Flame: a Journal of Book Reviews & Criticism. He currently works as the director of marketing and communications for the Cambridge, MA-based nonprofit Essential Partners.

Joseph Spece '05 is the founding editor of Fathom Books and author of the books Bad Zoo and Roads.

Donald Harrison '04 is a Philadelphia-based writer and pianist who performs frequently as a storyteller and accompanist.

Cass Chisholm ’03 is an assessment specialist at the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery. She received Master's in Literature in Modernities from the University of Glasgow.

Sarah Khan '03 is an award-winning journalist with two decades of writing and editing experience. She has reported on seven continents, and served most recently as editor in chief of Condé Nast Traveller Middle East.

Kathleen Dunley, M.A. '02, earned her Ph.D. and works as a professor of English at the University of Advancing Technology in Tempe, AZ.

Jonathan Farina '02 is assistant professor of English at Seton Hall University. He has taught English at Vanderbilt University and New York University, where he earned his Ph.D.

Janelle Nanos '02 is assistant business editor for news innovation at the Boston Globe.

Jennifer Massoni Pardini ’02 is the managing editor of the Nob Hill Gazette, in San Francisco, CA. She earned her M.F.A. in English and Creative Writing from Mills College, where she won the Amanda Davis M.F.A. Thesis in Fiction Award. As a longtime magazine editor and contributor, her journalism has appeared in the San Francisco Chronicle, Gentry, Crawdaddy!, and Vanity Fair, where she was the Associate Editor of Oscar Night: 75 Years of Hollywood Parties.

Meaghan Mulholland '01 is a writer and editor who who freelances for several publications, including National Geographic

Iva Yates '01 is director of studies at Student Campus, an English Language school in Limerick, Ireland. She earned a Ph.D. in Creative Writing at the University of Limerick, and her short fiction has appeared in The Ogham Stone, Contratiempo, and Identidad.

Amy Woodbury '01 is associate professor of English and chair of the Department of Global Humanities at Norwich University.
