New! Fall Group Fitness Options

This Fall, Campus Recreation will offer three types of group fitness classes: in-person, outdoors, and virtual (online). You must pre-register for group fitness classes up to 24 hours in advance. Upon registration, you will be assigned a spot on the floor that will assist with physical distancing per university and government regulations. Walk-up spots are not available.

With the reconfiguring of the Connell Center, we have moved the majority of in-person classes to the wood courts on Level 3 and the MAC on Level 1.


Group fitness classes are free to all members.

Are you an alumni or non-member interested in participating in our virtual-only classes? For just $25, you can access our virtual class library and LIVE classes on Zoom. Those interested can purchase their subscription through the Campus Recreation Portal.

Registration is available through the Campus Recreation Portal. Please sign up through RecConnect up to 25 hours before class. Registration will close one hour before class starts.  

COVID PRECAUTIONS: Please check in for class at the control desk before heading to your class location. You must sign up to reserve your spot in class; this is also so that the instructor can set up your ‘zone’ with any necessary equipment. Instructors will have your station set up - please do not leave your designated area. All participants will be spaced 14 feet apart per physical distancing guidelines for fitness centers. All participants must wear a mask at all times except for when they are in their designated area within a group fitness class. After class, please wipe down your equipment with provided wipes and leave it at your station. Your instructor will return all equipment once all participants have left the class space.
