The following programs and events serve to prepare BC graduate students and postdoctoral fellows for future teaching roles in higher education and to support graduate student teaching at BC. The CTE also works with departments to develop their own TA/TF or graduate student development programs.

 

Apprenticeship In College Teaching Program

Prepares graduate students and postdoctoral fellows for teaching careers in higher education.

TA & TF Orientation

Provides new Teaching Assistants and Teaching Fellows the opportunity to learn about some of the particularities of teaching BC students and connect with and learn from other graduate students.

Graduate Student Teaching Recognition Ceremony

Honors the important work that graduate student teachers perform in advancing the practice of teaching at Boston College.
