Theology Graduate Student Association (TGSA)

BC Graduate Student Life

The Boston College Graduate Student Life website provides information for the graduate community at BC. The site includes access to an events calendar for graduate students, an "online orientation," the online Graduate Newsletter, and information regarding the Murray House, housing, health insurance, and more!

Travel Funding

Active students of the Theology department attending a conference, whether presenting a paper or not, may request funding to offset costs. These funds come from a variety of sources, including the Graduate School of Arts and Sciences (GSAS), the Graduate Student Association (GSA), the Boston Theological Interreligious Consortium, and the Theology Graduate Student Association (TGSA). For theology students, reimbursements are channeled through the TGSA. In general, any funding request to a Boston College source listed above must be received within one month of travel.

Reimbursement Parameters

The reimbursement parameters and procedures have been updated for the 2023-2024 academic year.  Specific guidance can be found on the TGSA’s myBC page. You will need to make an account if you have not already done so. Please reach out to Jamie Myrose, TGSA President, or Dorie Goehring, TGSA Treasurer, with questions or for more information.
