I am a former student at the University of Georgia, where I double majored in history and philosophy and developed a passion for interdisciplinary study through engagement with political science, cultural studies, and jurisprudence. I am interested in the history and development of foundations in metaphysics and theology, specifically in the 20th century with the advent of phenomenology and Christian responses to modern philosophy. In addition to this core question, I am animated by questions regarding the ethical and political consequences of metaphysical doctrines as well as the impact these approaches can have on our view of man's relationship both with others and technology.
I am an avid film buff, and have a passion for Japanese anime from the 1980s and to the early 2000s. In my spare time, you can catch me jogging around campus, listening to heavy metal, writing fiction, or watching sports (especially college football). I hope to pursue a JD after I complete my MA.
