Woods College Commencement
Scenes from the Woods College Commencement ceremonies from May 21, 2018.
We imbue every class with the Jesuit, Catholic values that inform our mission—including a relentless search for truth, a resolute commitment to character formation, and an unyielding devotion to living justly together.
Our welcoming community comprises students of varying backgrounds, professional experience levels, and goals, a world-class faculty, and a 6,500-strong alumni network.
We take pride in our individualized advising approach, which encompasses not only academic help but also attention to personal, emotional, social, and spiritual needs.
Undergraduate students can take advantage of the full Boston College experience, including on-campus student organizations, athletics, dining, recreation facilities, and support services. And our graduate programs respond to both industry’s and society’s needs, forming students who serve communities while meeting market demands.
With newly minted master's degrees, brothers become two-time graduates of BC's Woods College of Advancing Studies.
Woods College students enjoy all the benefits of being part of the greater Boston College community: state-of-the-art athletic facilities, hundreds of clubs and organizations, a premier research library network, health and wellness services, and much more.
With access to more than 35 research centers and institutes, students can also collaborate with peers in other disciplines and design research that advances the common good and launches rewarding careers.
Graduate and undergraduate students, alumni, advisors, and faculty all come together to help each other learn to serve more effectively—and more ethically—in an increasingly global society.
