Founded in 1956, New Testament Abstracts (NTA) is an indispensable research and bibliographic aid for scholars, librarians, clergy, and students of the New Testament and its historical milieu. Every year NTA abstracts at least 1,500 articles chosen from more than 500 periodicals in numerous languages. Nearly 700 current books are also summarized annually. In May 2017 NTA was featured in the BC Chronicle.
NTA is published three times each year. Cost per year: $43 (domestic), $57 (foreign), postage paid.
The publishers of NTA are making arrangements for future subscription services and fulfillment.
Over 50,000 abstracts and book notices from NTA are available to institutions in a searchable online format from EBSCO Publishing. The current version includes all abstracts and book notices published from 1985 through 2014 (NTA 29–58).
Now in its seventh decade, NTA, a publication of STM has become the definitive source on current literature devoted to research of the New Testament and the times in which it was formed, and an invaluable resource around the world.
