Oliver Goodrich is a doctoral student in Theology and Education at Boston College’s Clough School of Theology and Ministry. A scholar-practitioner with over two decades of experience across higher education administration, campus ministry, spiritual direction, and choral conducting, his work centers on helping people find their voice—vocationally, musically, and spiritually.

At Boston College, Oliver’s research explores the intersection of experiential education, Ignatian spirituality, and embodied wisdom. His academic work is deeply informed by years of work as a campus minister at Loyola University Chicago, where he directed the Christian Life Community program and ran retreats, and as a higher education administrator, having served in leadership roles at Bowdoin College and Cornell University. He currently serves as an adjunct instructor at Loyola’s Institute for Pastoral Studies, where he works with graduate students in the spiritual direction certificate program.

Oliver is the Co-Founder and CEO of Spiritual Grounding , an initiative dedicated to reimagining the ancient wisdom of the Ignatian tradition for modern spiritual seekers. He maintains a spiritual direction practice in South Portland, Maine and frequently travels to lead retreats and workshops. Driven by the conviction that contemplative practice is a profound catalyst for personal and communal transformation, he empowers Christians to reclaim embodied wisdom and reconnect with the more-than-human world.
