Biography

Born in 1976 in Florianópolis, SC, Brazil. Raised within a Catholic environment, and studied in a Catholic School (elementary, middle, and high), also having participated in and worked with Youth Pastoral during and after that time. BSBA and JD equivalent degrees in Brazil, with 22 years of work experience as an attorney and advisor back there as of now. Master in Theology at the Pontifical Catholic University of RS (Brazil), and further teaching undergraduate experience for 7 years prior to come to the US, and as pastoral advisor in the Archdiocese of Florianópolis during and after the master degree. PhD Candidate in Theology and Education at Boston College, and currently teaching at the BC CSTM Continuing Education program (to Portuguese speaking communities), as well at the BC WCAS undergraduate program (Business Ethics); also serving as a volunteer at the Pastoral Planning Advisory Board of the Archdiocese of Boston, the International Committee of the "Economy of Francesco" (event called by Pope Francis in 2019), and others.
