Tenure Track or Tenured Professor in Economics

The Department of Economics at Boston College invites applications for a tenure-track position at the level of Assistant Professor beginning in Fall 2017. We are interested in candidates in applied microeconomics. In exceptional cases, a higher-level appointment may be considered. Candidates will teach in the undergraduate and Ph.D. programs in Economics. Applicants should be committed to teaching and research of the highest quality.

Assistant/Associate Professor of the Practice in Economics

The Department of Economics of Boston College is seeking candidates for a full-time non-tenure track position in economics in any field beginning September 2017. This is a renewable long-term (3-year contract) position. Completed Ph.D. and exceptional undergraduate teaching experience of at least three years is required. Candidates will be expected to play a full role in the undergraduate program including active supervision of senior theses and undergraduate advisement. Applicants should be committed to teaching of the highest quality. Desirable fields are principles of economics, intermediate micro and macroeconomics, statistics and econometrics and electives of the candidate’s choice.
