Faculty: Research & Clinical Expertise

CSON faculty members are renowned researchers, experienced practitioners, and supportive mentors—leading experts dedicated to developing the next generation of nurses and nursing knowledge. Through intellectual inquiry and clinical practice, they advance nursing and improve health care in our communities.

They connect students to professional networks and research opportunities while directing their own federally funded research. Examples of our faculty’s work include screening for adolescent bullying, developing toolkits that improve sleep quality in hospitals, and studying the impact of violence on women’s health.

Our Office for Nursing Research serves as an additional resource for both students and faculty, facilitating contributions, collaborations, and dissemination of research findings.
