Caitlin McManus Vitale, Ph.D., MS, CRNA, is a clinical instructor at the Connell School of Nursing. She completed her undergraduate, master's, and Ph.D. degrees at Boston College. She is a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) with experience working in Boston Hospitals as a CRNA. Her research is focused on the impact of social determinants of health on rural health, and how advanced practice nurses can improve health equity among rural populations. She is a member of the American Association of Nurse Anesthetists and the Massachusetts Association of Nurse Anesthetists.
