Profile

Dr. Lauren G. Bent is the Associate Program Director and Associate Professor of the Ed.D. in Higher Education Leadership program at Regis College. She has been a full-time faculty member for eight years and has been teaching graduate students for 12 years. Prior to that, she was an Associate Vice President for Global Engagement and Graduate Student Affairs at Merrimack College where she oversaw study abroad and international student services and served as a co-chair for an Internationalization Laboratory through the American Council on Education. She also worked at Boston College as a study abroad advisor and resident director for the B.C. in Madrid program. Her research areas include: supporting and engaging adult learners; advancement in higher education; and women in leadership. Lauren holds an Ed.D. in Educational Leadership from Johnson & Wales University, a M.A. in Higher Education Administration from Boston College, and a B.A. in Human Development and Hispanic Studies from Boston College.
