Andrea Vicini is an alumnus of Boston College (S.T.L. and Ph.D.) and also holds a M.D. from the University of Bologna and a S.T.D. from the Pontifical Faculty of Theology of Southern Italy in Naples. Before arriving at the STM, Andrea was Gasson Professor at BC (2009-2010) and has taught in Italy, Albania, Mexico, Chad, and France. He is a lecturer and member of associations of moral theologians and bioethicists (in Italy, Europe, and the US).
During the academic year 2015-16, Andrea had a research fellowship at the Center of Theological Inquiry in Princeton, NJ, on the Societal Implications of Astrobiology.
