I am a first-year M.A. student in Philosophy at Boston College. During my undergraduate studies at the University of Toronto, I developed an interest in phenomenology and existentialism, focusing particularly on their intersections with political philosophy and contemporary social issues, such as discrimination. I am now interested in extending this comparative approach to the relationship between phenomenology and Japanese philosophy, particularly Kitarō Nishida. I believe this idea was positively shaped by my experience as an exchange student at the University of Tokyo. Beyond these areas, I also study feminist philosophy and Plato.
Outside of philosophy, I enjoy writing poetry, playing Go, and watching esports and competitive intellectual games.
