The Intersections of Phenomenology and Film
Before touching down in Chestnut Hill, I received my B.A. in Philosophy at Kennesaw State University, located in my native state of Georgia. I began my undergraduate career with the intention of going into Film Studies, before coming to realize that my real passion was for the places in my favorite films where philosophy and aesthetics interweaved. Under the tutelage of my wonderful professors at KSU, I went on to develop strong interests in irony, deconstruction, phenomenology, and eventually, Christian theology. I enjoy philosophy which situates itself within and actively works at deconstructing the tensions, antinomies, and marginalities of the broader continental tradition.
