Just War Theory
Ethics of Technology
Ethics of Artificial Intelligence
Gabriel Forthofer is a first-year M.A. student in Philosophy at Boston College. He is also an active-duty U.S. Air Force (USAF) officer sponsored for graduate study. His research centers on just war theory, the ethics of technology, and the ethics of artificial intelligence, with special attention to the moral application of human-machine systems. He aims to translate philosophical analysis into operationally relevant guidance for defense and public policy. Outside of academia, he enjoys spending time with his family, watching college football, working out, and coding.
