Artificial Intelligence
Phenomenology
Ethics
Just War Theory
I am a doctoral student whose interests sit at the intersection of philosophy of AI, phenomenology, and ethics. My research investigates what it would mean for an artificial system to possess intelligence, examining embodiment, forms of life, and world-directedness as conditions that current AI systems may or may not meet. Alongside this, I am developing work on how the proliferation of autonomous weapons systems challenges traditional accounts of military virtue and on the broader moral implications of AI for human agency in decision-making.
