Abdulaziz “Aziz” Alfailakawi is a Ph.D. student in philosophy at Boston College. His interests lie primarily in human flourishing through the ancient Greek, 19th to 20th century continental, and east Asian philosophical traditions. Specifically, his research pertains to ethics, selfhood, and relationality—thinking about how people relate to themselves and others to affect both moral development and overall well-being. Some of the figures Aziz has worked on include Plato, Aristotle, F.W.J. Schelling, Martin Heidegger, Hannah Arendt, and Zhuangzi.
