Biography
Tommie is a first-year M.A. student whose research focuses primarily on popular movements of resistance to imperialism and neoliberal capitalism in modern Latin America.
Tommie graduated Summa Cum Laude from Salem State University with a B.A. in History and Spanish. Their undergraduate research largely focused on the role of the Chilean New Song Movement in championing social change during the campaign and presidency of the socialist Salvador Allende.
